I’ve completed a comprehensive update to the Simplified Chinese translation. The main work includes:
* Filling in previously untranslated strings.
* Correcting inaccurate or misleading existing translations.
* Unifying the overall wording and style while keeping the changes as minimal as possible.
I also want to be transparent that I used AI as a translation assistant during this process. However, every single change was manually reviewed, and I carefully corrected any translations that I found to be inaccurate or unnatural.
While I’ve done my best with both AI assistance and manual verification, there may still be room for improvement. I’d really appreciate it if this could be merged into the production environment sooner rather than later, so I can help identify any remaining translation issues through real-world usage—and, of course, finally enjoy using Penpot completely in Chinese. lmao
Also, I hope the official website will eventually receive proper i18n support as well. It would make Penpot much more accessible to Chinese-speaking users and provide a more consistent experience across the entire project.
