Hi there, I have been using Penpot for a while now and I like it so far. But obviously the performance is a huge problem. And especially the drag & drop is really error prone.
I would like you to consider changing the left sidebar hierarchy to enable working with the tree more, so you don’t have to drag components over my canvas - always wondering where the component might end up.
- More compact site navigation
- Side nav and tree always visible
- Components and tokens in a collapsible bottom drawer to drag & drop from (into canvas or tree)
I’ve got some more topics, but to keep it clean I’ll leave it at that.
