Duplicating an artboard should be layered beneath the source artboard

Current behavior: When duplicating an artboard, the new artboard is created as a layer above the duplicated layer.

Desired behavior: The new artboard should be layered under the original artboard.

Reasoning: When doing an PDF export, the layer order determines the page sequence. The duplicated artboard appears to the right of the original artboard on the canvas, making it appear sequenced after the original artboard in left-to-right languages. I must always drag duplicated boards beneath their source artboard and this is repetitious.

Hello Jeremiah, It makes a lot of sense when you are thinking in a PDF export scenario. Other features in Penpot are affected by the order of creation of layers. The team is taking your comment in considerations. Thanks for your feedback.
