Is there an example on migrating a large design system?

Hi,

I’d like to try moving an enterprise design system to Penpot that references tokens from multiple other libraries.

I tried this plugin, but looks like only color tokens got imported, and the Penpot Exporter plugin uses hard-coded values instead of the variables that are in the Figma file.

If someone has tried this with multiple libraries or knows a walkthrough on how to do it successfully, I’d really appreciate it.

Would you elaborate on the other libraries? That plugin is for Figma to Design Token and as you said it seems to only handle colors currently. I have no Figma motivation but have been working on the DTCG specs and a way to import and export using those.

Some variables in the file are referencing base values from another file, so it’d be good to keep those connections for updating later
