How to do a rhomboid?

I want to make some cards in a rhomboid form, but idk how to do in penpot?
In css i can do some transform with skewX a square.

But there is a form to do that in penpot?

i want the card loo look likes:

        °------°
       / /
     / /
   / /
 / /

/ /
°------°

I would do it like this:

  1. create a rectangle

  2. double-click on it

  3. then move the two bottom anchor points to the right or to the left, depending on the skew you want to apply to the rectangle.

I’m sure there are a thousand other ways to do it… but this is the first one that came to mind.
I wish you a wonderful day!

Hi findut, will the texture get skewed too, or is it just a canvas?

The shape is treated separately from the fill, so you shouldn’t end up with any skewing. Especially if you have Keep aspect ratio checked in the fill image options.

Oh looks like its use svg code to create, i think is better than my way with skew. Btw i did it! thanks a lot :star:

I don’t think there’s a direct skew tool in Penpot like CSS. You could draw a rectangle and then edit the corner points to turn it into a rhomboid, or check if there’s a transform option that gives a similar result.

Is this shape only for the design mockup.
