thanks. is there a way to upload a partial translation to the program? sometimes it helps to see where the strings are in the application.

You can’t delete you profile. Reassign your teams before proceed.

typo in english string: shortcuts.toogle-fullscreen ?
Toogle fullscreen

Hello @Amerey:

I’ve created an issue in our Taiga project (here) and I’m going to fix it.
Thanks for the info

Hi @Eva_Marco! Kudos to you and everyone working on Penpot

I just created a Weblate account (@renandf), and I’d like to try helping push the Portuguese (Brazil) forward!

Hi @Renan. I’ve just added you to our weblate page. You should now see Penpot / frontend project in your account, and start editing Portuguese translations whenever you want.

I can help with the Swedish translation

Thanks @hirunatan and @Eva_Marco ! I now have access to the Penpot/frontend :ok_hand:

I noticed a typo in the English version of a string and I made a “suggestion” via the Weblate interface. I hope this is the flow I should follow, but let me know if I should do something different.

  • Context: errors.feature-mismatch
  • Source string location: src/app/main/errors.cljs
  • English version

And I have a quick question related to how we should write Penpot in the translations. I’ve seen penpot (all lowercase) and Penpot (with the capital P). What should be the standard?

Hello @nson Sure¡¡; tell us your weblate username and we will add you to the group¡

well, I can do Polish

Hi @marcin_wroblewski, if you tell us your weblate username we’ll be able to add you to the translation project

Hello @Renan
We don’t manage the english typos via weblate because it is our main language. Can you please tell me the typo via DM, I’ll open an issue and fix it.

The other question, Penpot has to be written like that with capital P. If you find any other options feel free to tell us.
Thanks a lot for yout help.

Hey @Eva_Marco, I didn’t find a way to send you a DM so I’m assuming you meant to “reply directly here”?

The typo I mentioned is:

  • English version
  • Context: errors.feature-mismatch
  • Source string location: src/app/main/errors.cljs

Sentence:

  • Current: Looks like you are opening a file that has the feature ‘%s’ enabled bug your penpot frontend does not supports it or has it disabled.
  • Proposed: Looks like you are opening a file that has the feature ‘%s’ enabled but your Penpot frontend does not support it or has it disabled.

Change:

  • bug » but
  • penpot » Penpot
  • supports » support

Hi there! I made many additions to the Turkish language on Weblate. But, there are formal and informal sentences in the translations. What should the general approach be?

Hi @Eva_Marco!
I can begin translate Penpot to Swedish.
My weblate account is: @henrik@thexorb.com

Let me know when I can start the translation!
