I’m working on ideas for designing interfaces for healthcare compliance software, and I’m curious how others would approach the UX.
A compliance platform may need to bring together things like digital compliance binders, facility inspections, compliance rounds, permits, drawings, emergency procedures, and audit documentation. The challenge is making all of that information easy to navigate without overwhelming facility or compliance teams.
For example, I’m thinking about a dashboard with:
- Compliance status and upcoming tasks
- Digital documents and facility records
- Inspection and rounding workflows
- Permits and expiration dates
- Audit history and reporting
- Role-based access for different teams
For a Penpot design system, would you approach this as one unified dashboard or separate modules with a shared navigation and component system?
I’d also be interested in seeing how others handle complex healthcare workflows while keeping the interface simple for day-to-day users.
