Hey hey,
I try to use the new (and great) Variants-Feature. But I found a problem with exporting the individual components inside of a Variants-Group.
Normally I hand off the Layout-Files to a Developer, and he can select the different Components and Export the needed Assets. (Icons for example)
Now if you select a Icon / Component inside of a Variant-Group, the Name of the exported File is always the Variant-Group-Name, and not the name of the select Component inside.
It also behaves that way if you use a Variant in the Layout, (for example a icon in a button)… it always uses the Main-Variant-Name instead of the used Variant-Property for Export.
Is this intended? (In Figma it uses the Property+Value for the Filename instead, if you Export a selected Component inside a Variant-Group.)
That way it behaves in Penpot, I need to list all included Icon-Components for Export separately. Maybe that´s something to consider for change.
