When i exported a svg from from Penpot and then tried importing the same svg to penpot, editing is not available. Is this an issue or some configurations needs to be done?

I haven’t been able to reproduce this, could you let me know what specific changes you are trying to make when importing the same svg?
Exported below image in svg format from penpot and then again re-imported it to change the text. But no editing is allowed in this. It completely acts as a normal image not an svg.
