Has Penpot changed how it tracks development on Taiga?

Hello Penpot team! I really love you guys and the amazing work you’re doing. :heart:

I’ve made it a habit to regularly check Penpot’s progress on Taiga because I genuinely enjoy following the project and seeing what’s being worked on.

However, for the past month or so, I’ve noticed that progress on Taiga seems to have slowed down quite a bit. The release sprints from the last couple of cycles are still open, and some of the other active sprints also seem to have stalled.

I just wanted to check in and see if there’s been any change in how you’re managing the project. Perhaps, you’ve moved to another tool, changed your workflow, or the team is taking a bit of a break/vacation.

Nothing urgent, of course. I’m just curious because I’ve been following Penpot’s progress pretty closely and wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing an update somewhere. :slightly_smiling_face:

Nothing has changed on the project management side: we still running things in Taiga. What has changed is how we handle issues. We’re moving to centralize them on Issues · penpot/penpot · GitHub because keeping several parallel channels was getting hard to maintain.

So what you’re probably seeing is a mix: summer vacations on the team, and issue work moving through GitHub rather than Taiga. You’re not missing an update, the workflow just looks a bit different right now.
