I have a simple board that is literally impossible to duplicate using the Alt key because the snapping algorithm causes the whole app to glitch badly. Even if you drop the duplicated board somewhere, you cannot be sure where it actually landed.
While moving it around, the duplicated board was also deleted during the process. Overall, this feels quite unreliable, especially for a cloud-based application, as it could result in data loss. In this case, I did not issue any delete command myself.
Turning on WebGL rendering does not help either. I can literally see the duplicated board disappear from the list on the left when I try to move it around again.
I do not have any extensions turned on or ad blockers in both brave and chrome.
I already did. But apparently, the culprit is not the actual project. At first, I thought it was just that board, but it happens with everything whenever you hit Alt after clicking and dragging, rather than beforehand. I still think this should be patched if possible, but I’m also leaving this post for anyone else who encounters it.
Make sure you hit alt first and then you can click and drag to duplicate
