Change background board while keeping overlay on

Hey all,

Could you please tell whether it’s possible to make the following possible?

  1. Open page
  2. Click on an item, so an overlay (pop-up) is displayed on top of the main artboard (let’s say it will cover 25% of the screen)
  3. Click on element on the overlay, so it will update the underlying artboard (change it to another one) while the overlay will still stay on/visible?
  4. Click on an element that closes the overlay (like “x” icon on overlay) to get rid of it, preserving the second board is visible
