8 team players is cool, but I want to share

I want to share my project in the same way I share projects when I’m using Figma, where I can send a link and the person can easily access and view the document. Right now, I’m sharing with my clients in a particular way, inviting them through the team adding system. However, I don’t want that. I want to share without the person having to be part of my team. Is there a way to do this smoothly, where people can enter and view or edit the project according to the permissions I provide? I’m looking for a simple way for them to access and view the project without going through a tedious process. Just like how I’m inviting people to be part of the team, is there an easy way to achieve this?

You can invite people to view the project in View mode from the view mode share links. This is a good way to give others access for feedback, especially when you only want to share specific parts of a file. People don’t have to sign up or login to view the file in view mode. (They do need a Penpot account to leave comments.)

If you want others to be able to edit your project, you need to invite them to your team with an editor role.
