I wonder, is it a conscious decision that there is no chat group yet for Penpot? I understand when there are concerns regarding using Discord. But what about an ElementX / Matrix server?
The community page here is… well let’s say it has its advantages and disadvantages.
We made the decision in the past not to have a chat feature because the team was small and, at the time, the community was also just starting to grow. Most of the questions would have needed input from the core team, and chat typically requires a faster, more time-sensitive response than what we could consistently offer. A forum allows for more flexibility and better knowledge sharing across time zones and contributors.
