Penpot could handle backgrounds better

Instead of interpreting a no-background image correctly, penpot is attempting to insert the no-background checkers. I don’t know but this seems a bit odd maybe theres’a a workaround?

Hello @nathfavour, Can you share the file with us to understand the problem better?

Are you sure it’s an image with no background? I feel like it’s not.

Sure:

well, I’m trying with more images to compare outcomes.
If any works I’ll notify you ASAP

I’m aware that penpot isn’t an image editing software, but I just feel like the images without a background could be handled better.

It does seem the issue is on the image, that it has a background.

Sooo sorry guys, I just removed the background with remove.bg, and it works now. Thank you
