Instead of interpreting a no-background image correctly, penpot is attempting to insert the no-background checkers. I don’t know but this seems a bit odd maybe theres’a a workaround?

Are you sure it’s an image with no background? I feel like it’s not.

I’m aware that penpot isn’t an image editing software, but I just feel like the images without a background could be handled better.
It does seem the issue is on the image, that it has a background.
