Totally not a designer here. Just trying to create some screens to use. Point is, I have no idea what all those fonts look like. Is there a webpage or a penpot file someone has created that might show examples of the fonts.
It would allow me to scan it over and at least try a few in the designer without going though each font… which previous discussions have mentioned, but looks like not happening for a while.
That’s a really cool idea for a plugin or template!
Just to follow up. After a bit of searching, I came to understand that penpot is using Google Fonts. So going to fonts.google.com provided an interface to put in some sample text and see the different fonts. I choose one and was able to then select that name in penpot. So that is one work around if it helps anyone.
Yes I was about to suggest this. Although it would be nice to have an overview of what the font looks like in the dropdown menu in Penpot too !
