Totally not a designer here. Just trying to create some screens to use. Point is, I have no idea what all those fonts look like. Is there a webpage or a penpot file someone has created that might show examples of the fonts.
It would allow me to scan it over and at least try a few in the designer without going though each font… which previous discussions have mentioned, but looks like not happening for a while.
Just to follow up. After a bit of searching, I came to understand that penpot is using Google Fonts. So going to fonts.google.com provided an interface to put in some sample text and see the different fonts. I choose one and was able to then select that name in penpot. So that is one work around if it helps anyone.
Penpot doesn’t have a dedicated webpage or file that shows all default fonts. It uses the Google Fonts catalog by default, so the easiest way to preview them is to visit google font, type your sample text, and browse fonts there—then search the same font name inside Penpot
