Html.to.design for PenPot

Is there any import tool plugin similar to the Figma plugin HTML.to.design?
I have a React and a Vue app, which I would like to safely import the design into Penpot.

Hello @Sheldon our plugin system is right now been tested by our Beta testers:

I requested to join the beta. I am interested in seeing the plugin manager and perhaps providing early feedback.

Hi, can I apply as tester? Thanks.

@David_T Its live now for more info see 2. Create a Plugin

Would love to see this plugin made.

I need this function to dump Figma and move to Penpot as it saves SO much time.

It would be very interesting to be able not just to view the code in the code inspector but also edit and write it so you could change the design by changing the code.

This would be valuable for modifying an existing design and also to generate new ones based in a provided html/css code.

@carolina.portugal is this in identified as a task in Taiga?

Thanks

Just guessing here, but the html is probably a function of the underlying object code, so if you modify it, it would not change the underlying data that penpot is operating on.

Your idea is interesting because we can speak the same language, but with a different manner or accent (I’m not sure if this metaphor is relevant ).

Anyway, Penpot doesn’t separate code from design as Figma does (or any design tools), and this approach would help product members contribute to a solution.

I may include Product managers who are accustomed to driving solutions, considering the business impact. Because they are included as members, and because a good design is a gathering of hard skills.

Nevertheless, the question of moderation or shared rules could be asked.

I don’t think divRIOTS would move to Penpot because their technology has been acquired by Figma, and I recall a conversation I had with Georges, who is its CEO, that this “maaaaaaay” happen
