Corner smoothing for iOS-style rounded corners

Hi Penpot team,

It would be great to have a corner smoothing option. Right now, we need workarounds like SVGs, which slows things down. Native support would make this much easier.

Hi Ayberk,

Thanks a lot for sharing this, totally understand the friction here. Corner smoothing is one of those features that feels very natural from a design perspective, but it gets quite tricky when it comes to implementation. Unlike border radius, it doesn’t map cleanly to standard web technologies like CSS, which makes it harder to support natively in a consistent way.

In the meantime, there’s a plugin available that can help cover this use case without needing SVG workarounds, so that might be a good option for now:
