Color management and creating a consistent palette is crucial.
As many of you know, there’s a tool (Material Theme Builder) that allows you to create a palette that covers a wide range of needs and scenarios in interface design. It works based on algorithms that, given a list of colors (6 base colors, plus optional additional colors), generate the others, ensuring consistency and contrast in line with web guidelines.
This tool allows you to export tokens in json format, which, however, is not compatible with the format used by Penpot.
I’m not good at programming, but a while ago I created something that allows you to convert this file (here, if you want to see something ugly!).
What I’d like to have is a plugin, or at least a system, that allows you to do something similar. It would be a great time saver for creating a consistent design system.
