What I am trying to do:
Change the border color of a shape to a color of a different element in the viewport via the color-picker/eyedropper/pipette.
How I am trying to do it:
Select a shape > go to the right sidebar and click on the border color > hit “i” on the keyboard to get the color-picker > select a color of a different element > the fill changes to the picked color, not the border 
What am I doing wrong or why does it not work like this? I really think it should
