Can't select shapes normally

Hi,

I was working on a presentation deck on Penpot, and I observed some weired behaviors:

  • I can’t click and select a shape unless the cursor is ‘near’ the shape’s border
  • When I use the zoom (click z on keyboard) and zoom in and out repeatedly, I can’t get back to normal cursor and the zoom is still selected even when cycling through the tools
  • When I place images on artboards and export to pdf, the images are not correctly displayed.
  • When writing arabic (RTL text), the origin is not set to right and the text box expands to right (which should be left).

Hi @iyadh,

Which browser are you working on? Do you also see the shape selecting and zoom issues when working with other browsers? I couldn’t reproduce these on Chrome.

Regarding the RTL text issues, I’ve created a bug in our backlog so that we can look further into this! You can find the details here: Taiga

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I tried Safari, Arc (chromium based) for now, I’ll check on Firefox later.
Can you please verify the pdf issue as well?
