🚧 Sneak peek: Design Panel upgrades in the works!

We’ve been cooking up some juicy improvements in the Design Panel — and while it’s still a work in progress, we couldn’t wait to share a first look! :raising_hands:

We’re adding the ability to apply and remove design tokens directly from the inputs. No more context switching — just quick, contextual styling, right where you need it.

:sparkles: What’s coming:

  • Type { or click a button to open the token dropdown
  • Filter and search tokens more easily
  • Apply and unapply tokens
  • All while keeping the native input behavior you’re used to

It’s still early — and yes, there’s a lot left to polish — but we’re excited about where this is headed. :wrench:
Check out the video above for a taste of what’s to come, and stay tuned for more updates soon! :collision:

Can’t wait! Will these changes also appear in the code? And for the colours, will the name of the colour token display in the side panel?

 This is going to be such a gamechanger. I love how you’re also helping identify broken/missing tokens. Can’t wait for this to come out!

SO excited for this, it might legit be the last thing I’m after before ditching Figma, other than maybe their new slots feature they just announced but I’ve survived this long without those haha.
