I really recommend anyone jumping on the plugin/extension creation for Penpot.
I was creating a plugin that would show assets that I have in Eagle app and allow me to select a folder and show those assets for me to drag out into designs with ease. That was the idea anyway. Seems the api running the Eagle app as a local app is having a tantrum showing the thumbnails or files correctly in the Penpot app.
It’s only been a couple of hours and I have some other ideas I might jump onto and come back to this later. I just wanted to say that the plugin template and being able to create it in Vue is awesome. Thanks Penpot Folks 
I might make the repo public later so anyone can have a dabble if they wish if I haven’t got around the issues.
Here is a screenshot, UI is a bit janky as I was mainly concentrating on it working at first.
