There’s a thread here for suggestions on enhancing the developer experience. I’m currently compiling my own little list with my personal preferences for working with semantic HTML, CSS variables, etc, and how those could work with Penpot. It’d be great to hear more about what your ideal code output would look like!
For example, I think the CSS could be greatly improved if we could get image assets as a separate download option so they didn’t need to be base64 encoded, and if components, colors, and typographies were set as CSS variables and class-based rules to reduce repetition and improve maintainability.
