I was setting up a new machine today, and went to login to penpot via a new chrome browser. So the cookie modal screen comes up and I choose customize.
- App required, yeah I get, OK.
- Analytics Cookies don’t like sending them to google, but I do understand how helpful these can be to developers, so ok, I allow.
- Marketing Cookies Ummm… why? Is this an oversight by penpot? Do you really feel that you need to place marketing cookies in order to allow users to use your app? Kinda feels like this is counter intuitive to the values penpot is trying to promote. If I want marketing and all the corporate spying, I’ll just go with Figma.
