I’m really excited about Penpot and better API support, so much that I already started working on a project using the current API documentation.

I’m hoping that the API would implement OpenAPI spec or something similar, so generating API boilerplate would be [easy to do for a lot of programming languages](https://github.com/swagger-api/swagger-codegen#overview).

There is a more detailed community post about this topic, that I wrote [here](https://community.penpot.app/t/penpot-api-file-for-autogenerating-api-libraries-e-g-openapi/2736) and as a [feature request](https://github.com/penpot/penpot/issues/3034)
