# We're attending the Lambda World Conf - October 2-4th

Well, not me. I won’t be attending, some of my colleagues will, though. And they’d love to connect with you if you’re going too.

We’re thrilled to announce that Penpot is a proud sponsor of [Lambda World](https://www.lambda.world/) this year! Lambda World is one of the largest conference in Europe about Functional programming.

Since [Penpot is built using Clojure](https://community.penpot.app/t/penpot-chose-clojure-as-its-language-and-here-s-why/168), a functional language, we’re proud about supporting the functional programming community and fostering events like these.

Our team is super excited and can’t wait to be part of the action! **We’ll have a booth at the venue**. We’ll be running **fun challenges and quizzes** throughout the event, with **awesome goodies and top prizes** to give away!
