At the end of last year, I completed some new Penpot templates. Here’s the first one I want to share with you all:

**[Typography design tokens starter kit](https://penpot.app/penpothub/libraries-templates/tipography-tokens-starter-kit)**

This is a template with 29 design tokens to help start your typographic system. You can use the file to experiment with typography tokens, or export the tokens to use in your own design projects.

If you’re a typography nerd like me, you might like the tokens for a proportional typographic scale/hierarchy. You can edit the `font-size.base` font size token to set your base font size, and use the `number.scale` number token to set your chosen scale. (For example, `1.618` would be the golden ratio.) All the other font size and typography tokens reference these tokens, creating an easily-editable scale.

When using these tokens in my designs, I only use the typography (type) tokens, ensuring consistency throughout.

Please let me know what you think of this template! And if you have any requests or suggestions for future/alternative versions.
