Well, that’s sad news. Hope someone takes over and keep improving it, maybe penpot devs themselves? I don’t know… For now, maybe it’s time to start looking back to ideas like [this one](https://community.penpot.app/t/turning-penpot-into-an-installable-pwa/469)… Can be a thing for some people, sure it is for me. ---

Wow, that’s nice! Haven’t been using any browser other than Edge and Firefox for a while, had no Idea they’ve implemented that in there too. ---

After many attempts at Tauri…nvm that didn’t work out. I’ll be sticking with Electron still. I may get back into desktop development early Jan or Feb and put Penpot Desktop under a new name to prevent confusion in the future. * * * Update: It’s been continued. Check the official post.
