# How to create masks?

Yep. Penpot allows creating masks. 🎭 Masking an image means limiting where a certain layer or adjustment is visible. Check this video to learn how to mask layers!

I didn’t find the option right away on the interface, I expected it to be somewhere with the boolean operators.
