## 📢 GDS Design System - Initial Release

Hey everyone! 👋 I’ve finally carved out the time to get the GDS Design System into a solid, usable state.

While there’s still some ongoing cleanup for components and responsiveness, this version is stable enough to be genuinely put to work.

**Current Status & Roadmap:**

- Core components are implemented and ready for real-world use.

- Refinements to responsiveness and minor component cleanup are still on the todo list.

- To add other areas of the Gov UK into token based over-rides

Feedback and thoughts are extremely welcome! By all means, feel free to fork it, update, and push. ❤
