# Color-picker not working after selecting border color

**What I am trying to do:**

Change the border color of a shape to a color of a different element in the viewport via the color-picker/eyedropper/pipette.

**How I am trying to do it:**

Select a shape \> go to the right sidebar and click on the border color \> hit “i” on the keyboard to get the color-picker \> select a color of a different element \> the fill changes to the picked color, not the border 🥲

What am I doing wrong or why does it not work like this? I really think it should 😃

You’re right and I think that’s a bug!
