Hi,

yesterday my penpot file had some struggle saving changes, also creating snapshots didn’t work. To still save my work I then used “Download Penpot file”.

Today the penpot project behaved strangely. The green dot in the upper left was red (which I now know means that saving failed). So I decided to reload the page. The result is that all my work from yesterday is gone.

I then tried to import the penpot file I’ve downloaded yesterday that should include all changes up to the point I’ve created it. Unfortunately it doesn’t.

Imo it would be better if when I click “Download Penpot file” it downloads the current visible state (instead of the last synced one). Otherwise I’m not able to save my work once the sync process breaks.

Thanks for creating Penpot and keep up the good work,

Thomas
